The Garnet & Blue Gala ™ provides funds for scholarships. Two-thirds of every Gala ticket purchased is tax-deductible. Proceeds benefit Greater Columbia Chapter academic and need-based scholarships to South Carolina State University, and initiatives that enforce and support the mission of South Carolina State University, e.g. Youth Day, SC State University Night, Adopt-A-Center (Hugine Suites), National Alumni Association Full Scholarships, and so much more.
