South Carolina State University National Alumni Association Convention
July 29 - Augusta 1, 2010 in Augusta Georgia
Greater Columbia Chapter Member, Pastor Sam Goodwin, Steadfast Christian Center, will be the speaker on Sunday, August 1, 2010 for the Convention's Ecumenical Breakfast
See you in Augusta!
Alumni, supporters, sponsors, and friends, thank you for working
so closely with the University and the Greater Columbia Chapter to give back in phenomenal ways. As we begin a new fiscal year, look around towards the students and parents who have been recruited by you to join the Bulldog Community. You are Loyal Sons and Daughters of Dear Alma Mater! So, today, continue the tradition by renewing your Membership in the Greater Columbia Chapter, enforcing and supporting the mission of South Carolina State University!
Parents, we welcome you as extremely important members of this Bulldog Community. From the time you decide to send your son or daughter to South Carolina State University, you entrust a sizable portion of their education and development to the members of the on-campus community - the faculty and staff. In much the same fashion, parents, you can turn to alumni and friends as your sons and daughters make the transition from University student to alumnus. Please know there's a greater network of the Bulldog Community off-campus that will help a young alumnus in any way possible.
Students, at South Carolina State University you are not just four-year members of this Bulldog Community - we welcome you for life! Think of the possibilities! Take charge of your academic careers with Bulldog determination. Take full advantage of all the opportunities that will be offered to you at SC State! Everyone knows the reputation of our sports fans. Please know that the term "Bulldog tenacity" applies to everything we do as a community. Hence, students, you can also turn to Alumni Chapters to make your journey to successful citizenship. Alumni Chapters form a network of graduates, sponsors, supporters, and their friends who offer leadership, scholarships, textbooks, mentorship, professional connections, accessories, skills, and an important family. They encourage organizations to employ members of our community and lead the nation and organizations in all facets -the military, science, business, education, medicine, arts, public service, commerce, government, medicine, technology, research, energy, and so forth.
South Carolina State University -where ambition becomes ability and students become Alumni for life!
