Annual dues: $60
Breakdown of dues: $60 = $25 National membership dues plus $35 Local Chapter dues.
Membership period: July 1 to June 30 of the following year.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION: WHO CAN JOIN? Alumni and persons who attended SCSU at least 1 year as well as strong supporters who have not attended SCSU but were recommended by members to join (ex. friends who purchase season's tickets, parents of SCSU students, spouses of alumni).
If you paid membership in 2010-2011 fiscal year, it's time to renew your annual Membership for this new year.
If you are a 2010-2011 graduate of SCSU, your dues for 2011-2012 is waived. Simply submit the Membership application and pay nothing!

National Alumni Association - New Graduate Member - A New Graduate Member shall be an alumnus or alumna who graduated within the last 12 months from South Carolina State University. This graduate pays no National or Local Chapter dues. Has voting rights. Recognized by the National Alumni Association.
National Alumni Association - At-Large Member - At-Large Member shall be a graduate or any person who has attended South Carolina State University for a minimum period of one year, and who is not affiliated with a chapter. Has voting rights. Recognized by the National Alumni Association.
National Alumni Association - Local Chapter Member - Local Chapter Member shall be a graduate or any person who has attended South Carolina State University for a minimum period of one year, who is affiliated with an organized chapter (consisting of five or more members) established and duly chartered under the Association who exemplifies the interest and desire to promulgate the mission of the Association. Has voting rights. Recognized by the National Alumni Association
National Alumni Association - Associate Member - Associate Member shall be any person who has exemplified the interest and desires to promulgate the objectives as set forth in Article II, and received the approval of the majority vote of those present in a regular meeting. Has voting rights. Recognized by the National Alumni Association.
National Alumni Association - Honorary Membership - Honorary Membership shall be extended to those persons recommended by an active member or chapter to the Executive Committee and approved by a majority vote at a regular meeting in recognition of their outstanding service to the Association and who has exemplified the interest and desire to promulgate the objectives as set forth in Article II of [the] Constitution. An Honorary Member does not have voting rights. Recognized by the National Alumni Association.
National Alumni Association - Life Member - Life Member shall be a Local Chapter Member or an At-Large Member who has satisfied the requirements for life membership as set forth by the Association. Has voting rights. Recognized by the National Alumni Association. Life Membership dues is $500 plus the $35 local chapter dues for the first year. Thereafter, a LIfe Member will pay only the local chapter $35 dues.
