Summer Camps At SC State University

Annual Greater Columbia Chapter Activities designed just for parents and students!

• Annual scholarship offering for accepted students to SCSU from the Columbia Area.
• An Annual Cookout during the summer for the accepted students to SCSU from the Columbia Area.
• High School Night - an oppportunity for high school juniors and seniors to meet exemplary students from SCSU, who talk about the many different aspects of college, including academics, internships, and student life!
• Youth Day at SCSU - an outreach field trip to SCSU during Bulldog Football Season.

  Youth Day Request for Donations

  Hello all,

  Annually, the GCC chapter plans to take area students to Youth Day at SCSU. The students are treated to the Youth Day activities, lunch, the game, and a tailgating opportunity after the game. The students pay a nominal amount, approximately $20.00 each, to attend this experience. The Greater Columbia Alumni Chapter of SCSU sponsors the remaining cost.

  At our meetings, several chapter members usually donate funds for this event and we solicit additional funds for this trip from you via our website. This is a trip that we need to ensure takes place because it provides the exposure of our beloved University to a great number of students. Please let us know if you are willing to donate to this cause.
