"First and foremost, thank you for inviting our family to the Summer Fling. I think the event was well organized as well as informative. Our son, Harrison, says that he feels like he is part of one big family and is looking forward to starting his Bull Dog experience. We are looking forward to his educational experience at South Carolina State College. D. G."

"I thought it was a great event and it was wonderful to see all the alumni, the parents, students and coaches. If possible, this should be an annual event. "It was a great event to celebrate Coach Jeff's recent Hall of Fame honor, get a preview of the season from Coach Pough, meet the new Bulldogs in the student pipeline and share our Bulldog love. Events like this one show all that we are serious about our commitment to uplifting our alma mater in every way possible. Congratulations on a successful event and let's keep up the good work!!"

'I was registered to attend but I encountered a flight delay and was not able to attend the Summer Fling. However, I was told that it was well attended, everyone had fun and there were lots of alumni, kids having fun, coaches in addition to incoming freshmans. It was a great opportunity for the young people to see how we support SCSU here in the Midlands. GO BULLDOGS!"

"My husband and I enjoyed the Bulldog fellowship, delicious and plentiful food, and the cool breeze provided by the monstrous fan. It was great to have Coach Pough and Coach Jeffries participate and share information. A suggestion for next year------ a PA system. It would be helpful to Bulldogs of a certain age, who have decreased audio abilities. We would have enjoyed hearing what the students said, but missed most of it. Perhaps we were too close to the fan (:-). Over-all,we enjoyed the event. W"

"I thought the Summer Fling event was a hugh success."

"The Summer Fling was GREAT!!! I think that we should have this event every Summer. An event such as this brings us together as ONE BIG FAMILY. I saw glad faces NOT mad faces. I commend the committee members who worked with this event AND actually all of the CHAPTER. One suggestion - however - maybe next time a shift schedule should be used --- (a) beginning the event and (b) at the end of the event --- so that some MEMBERS can put UP the food, equipment and other MEMBERS can take down the equipment and the food.
